Let's Talk Ethical.

Why Ethical Design Matters to us

Let’s talk ETHICAL. Why we love to work with ethical brands and design with purpose.

As kids of the 90’s, we both grew up with massive amounts of plastic, single use items, the rise of fast fashion, waste, waste, waste and.. prominent seasons. A lot has changed since then, and we have changed our business model to designing with purpose. Why?

1. We care about the planet and the environment.

In the past 7 years, we have become extremely aware of the issues of climate change, pollution and civil rights. And we have personally pledged to fight them and to become better humans.
Only problem? We didn’t apply this to our work life. Buying packaging free items, using biodegradable floss and toothpaste in a jar - yet working with and for businesses who are extremely unethical. It just didn’t align, and neither did it make us happy.

2. Sustainable Brands are most important.

This is where the real shift happened. Sustainable, eco conscious start ups and brands are on the rise and we are here for it! We love what you do, we love how much you care, we love how you put ethics and empowerment first and profit second (or third!).
The thing is: If you don't put profit first, most of the time the budgets are smaller. We know that. At the same time, we know it's those brands, who need to be seen! We want you to be successful, because if more people use sustainable products, buy sustainable fashion and co - we are one step closer to a better world. Which brings me to...

3. We want you to be seen!

We want you to reach your target audience. Which is why we started to say no to jobs to make space for you. If you out profit second, so can we. Starting to say no to jobs that didn’t tick our boxes of ‘ethical’ also made room for personal growth. Maybe there is a gap here and there in the calendar. But we’re happy to fill it with personal projects that really fulfil us and help us score the projects we really LOVE to work on.

4. We're looking for purpose

We call this ‘Design with Purpose’. It’s a considered way of designing - with the best outcome in mind - not the fastest. With the deepest connection in mind, not the broadest.
So… we haven’t looked back, instead, we look at all these brands emerging. All these brands doing incredible work and achieving a change in the consumers mindset.
